Juxtapositions Ahead

Philosophy views objects as places of discovery about how we perceive reality. This interests me. Specifically, I am somewhat fascinated by how we’ve trained ourselves to ignore the functional objects scattered across Canada’s landscape. It seems we are all magnify whatever natural beauty we can find beyond, above or around the industrial and utilitarian. We instinctively edit out what we prefer not to see.

Objects in the Landscape, Too places those functional objects directly in view. Each work in this solo show invites you to consider: What is really there?

Sign up below for Season Tickets to my small theatre of the absurd, and you’ll receive an email inviting you to the June 14, 2025 opening. The exhibit runs until July 13, 2025 at the Crowsnest Pass Public Art Gallery.

Hope you’ll stop by, and share your impressions. Interest and engagement help me grow and develop in my practice.
